The performance night body night voice is an artistic exploration of Charlotte's fear of being alone at night as a female-read person. Together with the sound artist Marquis' McGee and the scenographer Lilli Unger under the dramaturgical guidance of Jo/Joseph/Josephine Baan, Charlotte creates a performance that translates narratives of fear and experiences of sexualized violence in public spaces into movement, sound, music and scenography. night body night voice is a re-appropriation of the night for female-read people and all those who have been taught to be afraid.
night body night voice has been selected for PREMIO 2024 and is a Co-Production of the Tanzhaus Zürich.

A performative walk through the richest part of Zürich past unexpected places, always on the threshold between private sphere and public space. In the performance, the political dimensions of the ability to make yourself comfortable are staged and our tendency towards comfort, decadence and inertia questioned.
